Dima Website Revamp and Operational Optimization

Project Overview

Dima is a sex-positive online pharmacy and advocacy-driven startup based in the Philippines, focused on making healthcare—particularly access to contraceptives—more inclusive and accessible. As the company scaled, there was a need to revamp its website and strengthen its operational backbone to support growth while staying aligned with its mission.

Scope of Work

The project involved two key workstreams:

  1. Website Revamp and Maintenance
In partnership with a specialized third-party agency, I led the full website revamp to improve UI, mobile responsiveness, and e-commerce flow. The goal was to deliver a user experience that felt safe, intuitive, and aligned with Dima’s values—resulting in stronger engagement and higher conversion rates.

  2. 3rd Party Logistics and Payment Integration
To support Dima’s operational scale, I helped establish partnerships for third-party logistics and payment processing. This involved evaluating potential partners, managing integration timelines, and ensuring secure, on-time deliveries in a highly regulated category.

Outcomes

  • Improved mobile responsiveness and checkout flow, resulting in measurable uplift in user engagement

  • Streamlined payment and logistics integrations for more reliable customer fulfillment

  • Strengthened collaboration with external partners to ensure business goals were met without compromising user trust

Key Takeaways

Revamping a health-focused e-commerce experience requires more than just good design—it demands sensitivity to user pain points, operational trust, and value alignment. This project reinforced the importance of listening, adapting quickly, and building with empathy, especially in advocacy-led startups.
